Whirlwind of Emotions

Today my world spins round and round Due to a whirlwind of emotions There's no gravity at all I have no center Will I succumb To an emotional Hell? What will become of me? I feel like I will Cease to be I'm fading fast What will become Of me? Poetry came To my rescue like Lightening speed Reminding me of The lifeline given Long ago still Remains today.

Writing is therapeutic Alexis, when you need a friend pick up your pen, let the ink flow and be happy again. Your friends are here… Belle

This is a fine write my friend. Wish my daughter could find an outlet like writing for when she is in some of her moods. She is often in an emotional hell of her own. Glad to hear your poetry is a good outlet for you. God Bless, JB

Hope you are well, Alexis, your poem shows a yell for help.. I talk to a few especially seniors and they feel like they need that life line to be thrown at them to be pulled out of their seclusion. Hugs from me

I think most of us can relate to this. I find that laying my problems at the feet of The Lord helps immensely. Listening to inspirational tapes and soothing music also helps. A good laugh is Also Good Medicine. And I will share an inspirational verse I read recently with you. "He who kneels before God can stand before anything." Great job here my friend. God Bless, JB

As you know, everything on this planet happens in cycles; only peace remains within the eye of a storm! Stay the course! Aloha!

Emotive expressions throughout my friend in this beautifully worded poem. We all go through a turbulence from time to time. So well said, Alexis.

You are not such an evil person. Our emotions whirl us around. Keep on the straight path of life.

Looks as if poetry really anchors you. Great! I know that I need something to anchor me. (Usually it's the jobs my wife gives me to do every day. lol. Just kidding, really. She's exceptionally undemanding. Couldn't have found a better gal anywhere on the planet). Happiness and Joy, Gershon

Great title and verse. I found myself jotting things down when life was tough to help rationalise my addled brain. It gave me a focus, I wrote simple poems and sent them to the local paper and to my surprise and delight some of them were published. Poetry is therapy for me. I would like to say that PS and all members have given me the chance to have a voice and realise there are many people everywhere that want to make a better world for everone not just the priviliged few.....
