While You Were

While you were stabbing me
The back,
I was loving y'all.
Even though you didn't
Love me back.
While you were talking Bad about me,
I was trying to see the good in y'all.
Making excuses why for y'all.
Even though I shouldn't had too.
I always saw the good in people,
Thinking maybe there was still some
Good people in the world.
But you changed that for me.
After what you did.
Then I saw your true colors
Hiding behind a mask.
You kicked me
While I was already down.
Showing me every kind face
Shows something else and isn't
Really kind.
They just use kindness to
Hide there true Intentions.
You never know who is
Real and whose not.
The person I once was
Is gone,
You opened my eyes
To the person you really were.
With daggers in my back.
Knife to my heart.
Leaving me with scars
That will never heal.
Memories that will forever haunt me
And play in my head like a movie
It won't let me forget
Reminding me of that horrible day.
The day that
Y'all betrayed me.
While I want to scream for
It to leave me alone
And let me forget that
Horrible day.
The memories won't
Let me forget.
