While You See a Chance Take It

We can all sit and look back at the past
At relationships we thought ‘forever’ that sadly didn’t last
Time and tide will wait for no man
Just embrace life as much as you can
None of us know what fate will dictate
Grab every opportunity before it’s too late
One day our tomorrow will never come
Then it’s too late for things we’ve not done
Live life to the full don’t waste it away
And tell your folks you love them every day

Poem inspired by Darren Watson’s blog ‘Why do the years go so fast’
Title taken from Steve Winwood’s hit While You See A Chance Take It.

The older i get the more I regret missing opportunities in the past - we need to make our children aware you only get one chance go for it before it's too late. Hugs Jan xxx
