While You Live Shine

While you live shine so the Seikilos epitaph goes
Oh how pithy are those words. They cause one to think to ponder and observe.
What have I done to heal the world that has been wounded by man’s vain attempts at immortality.
Should we not strive to leave a better world for our posterity
It’s never too late to turn ones life around
And indeed while you live shine.
