While Out In Nature

I heard the faint howl of the cold wind; saw the crescent moon's beatific smile In the meadow; wonderous sights I did find! the winter wrens serenaded me all the while But where's the snow? Could this be winter's guile? Writing Prompt- English Quintain Imagery - Poetry Contest Sponsored by Dear Heart Date written and submitted: 12/28/2019

My children have suffered floods and fires this past year. I am quite happy they don't have to drive in snow. I enjoyed your poem. I like the kind of snow that falls in Seattle every few years. It is beautiful but doesn't hang around too long. I used to live there. Congratulations on your win! xxoo

Thank you, Connie:-) It rains a heck of a lot more than it snows in Seattle, I bet! I'd love to visit someday...when it's NOT raining, teehee!

faint howl...love those words together... BUT...yes here in my world in MI we have rain NOT snow! 3 inches of rain tonight, which equals 30 inches of snow (apparently) if the temperature drops it will turn to ice. YAY! congrats on your placement dear Edward, blessings x:-)-luloo
