While Mother Earth Gently Moans
Mother earth gently moans the greenhouse effect
From unhealthy car fumes floating through the air
That’s causing devastation to our climate
Back to back hurricanes and tornadoes reek
Habit, causing devastation to our cities
And states, leaving death and destruction all over
It has caused irreversible damage to
Most of us don’t seem to care at all now, sad
Mothers earth gently moans the failure of crops
That’s mean to feed billions, the climate change with
With the excessive heat is destroying our crops
Causing our farmers to produce less food each year
Dry conditions or an overflow of rain
Mother earth gently moans water pollution
It’s killing all of our marine life and
Over fishing is seen way to often, an
Even the coral reef is vanishing quick
Trash and toxins over run our rivers and
Streams because of big tech companies who cares
About making a dollar, while the toxins
Poison our fish and the people who eat them
Factories pollute the air until its not
Safe to breath, it puts the quality in the
Red zone, it’s like a blanket of fog that sits
Mother earth gently moans, the lost of forests
Where most of the trees is cut down for the sake
Of progress, leaving the poor animals with
No place to go, homeless with no end insight
Taking away their food supply and forcing them
To move closer to the human population
In order to find food, this puts humans in
Danger zone and causes conflict to
Mother earth gently moans, to see the planet
Slowly sinking into non-existence, she’s
Suppose to be love, cared for and protected
Most of all she hasn’t been nurtured either
This is part of why mother earth moans gently
