While Mortals Sleep

Nights are long and days seem short…

Son of God loves pure light…

See the light at the end of the road…

Hopes and fears, of all the years are at rest…

Come with me, to pay respect…

While mortals sleep and angels weep…

Sandra, I read this poem and could not believe there have been no comments. To me this speaks of faith and mortality. A beautiful poem for the faithful and those who believe in any higher power. -Stephen
