Whether Broken Though Or Crawled Over
grasp & claw
at an impenetrable wall
a delay of inevitable thought
swayed towards a measureless
cave, a chaotic chimerical maw.
breach it to find every
form faintly out of reach
so long
found the end of every
path abandoned
the aftermath of every
aborted thought the
contorted afterbirth
brought with it bloody roots
& life's first waste
& all i've denied,
done wrong,
forgotten
in the haze of
a long buried phase,
begotten by my surroundings.
this is not what i call
myself
that you see.
what you hear
now just a reflection
fogged & unclear
shadows of myself
but nowhere near.
whether broken though
or crawled over
somewhere deep within
myself i've found what
will be constantly battling
to destroy everything
i foolishly
maintain.
grasp it tight, this pit & bury desire within.
grasp it tight, this pit, more than
just willfull, its beginning
is the end
of ends.
