Where's the Floor??

sort'a disconcerting,
the world it spins around,
don't know where the sky is,
don't know where is the ground

what is going on here??
this vertigo makes me sick
better get me a pail or bucket,
and you'd better get it quick!

if only I could find the floor,
I'd lay down, and spin no more,
perhaps some rest, with sweet snore,
and sleep the sleep of angels,
some rest maybe to open the door,
to peace and tranquility
and let my dreams outpour

so point me in the right direction
I don't have time for introspection
I must get prone, real quick,
cause the whirling is comin' thick,
and if I don't stop to gather,
what little wits that I have left
my chance of waking up again
would be the loot of thieft.
