Where's Hope - Split Haiku

Without hope, what then
Wander sans reason
Months
pass without season

Vacancy sign reads
What is all that knocking for
No
one's home any more

God keeps on knocking
He says it may be dark now
Search
for light anyhow

That glimmer will spark
Illuminating your mind
Pain
Is not all you'll find

You'll find those missing
seconds, minutes, days, weeks too
Time
still exists for you

You'll survive the months
with love for each new season
God's
hope is the reason...

Hey Linda! When I read the contest title, "Mystics Split Haikus", I thought, what is a split haiku? Intriguing...she wrote in the contest description: Split-haiku's in syllables of 5, 7, 1, 5. Figured I'd give it a try. Happy to know you enjoyed, thank you!
