Where You Belong

I'm not your fairy tale story with a happy ending
I'm not your blessing in every morning
I'm your lover and your provider
I'm more then your story from the past
With me it was just the start

I'm more then just a song
I'm more then you could ever know
Cause with me is where you belong
I long for the days when you looked at me with a spark
When we held hands and walked through the park

My days were never dark
As I was with you ,my number one
What happened to those days hone
When we enjoyed the brightness of the sun
I still think of you even though we are done
I hope you could come back to me where you belong

You have written a beautiful poem. I especially like it when you say: :"I am more than just a song" That is so true, and well put. Your Rhyme is a great first poem on PoetrySoup. Welcome!
