Where Would I Be

What I perceived as love was nothing more Than a stepping stone to my true soul mate A moment in time I had to create To understand the love that was in store. The longing to feel my heart beat again Wanting to step inside myself and live Repair the pain and be able to give A soul that was pure, no blemish or stain. You are the love that I have never known The voice I always heard inside of me Protecting me from the fears of alone Calling, calling until I heard the plea I feel you and all the love you have shown Without you my darling, where would I be.
