Where Words Didn’t Go

There’s a book on the corner shelf-
with pages slightly bent,
not from careless reading
just things left unsaid.
It doesn’t ask to be opened,
doesn’t beg to be read,
but somehow it feels heavier
than the words it never said.

I like the rhythm in this poem about a mysterious book. Great work.
