Where Will It Leave Us
If it's another poem, that you'd like to read...
Then I will write something, profound, indeed.
It will leave a legacy for all to heed...
God-speed.
If it's another hurdle that you're trying to cross...
Then I will write something without a loss.
It will leave us all, without a boss...
Coin-toss.
If it's another war, that you'd wish to win...
Then I will write something, without a whim.
It will leave us all, a little thin...
Tail-spin.
If it's another lie, that you'd like to tell...
Then, I will write something, without a yell.
It will leave us all, well, but you might...
Go to hell.
If it's another heart, that you're trying to break...
Then I will write something about give & take.
It will leave, just you, in a lake...
No-Brake.
