Where Wild Roses Grow
Let's run to where the roses of love lean on our unbroken breaths
let us remind them of where their soil was salvaged from
found under the ash of anger's arson
where hearts once abandoned, beat the body of Life for purpose,
how we encountered one another in the smoldering aftermath,
together gathering rich, dark soul soil for our special destiny,
revealing to them their origin as blood seeds of reborn heartbeats,
we should teach them the depths of their hungry roots
how they'll never cease to reach deeper into the desire we share,
we'll tell them the truth of their wild bloom,
let us run my Love
to where our roses burn red on the hot horizon -
