Where We Are

Send us the sorry news
We'll throw it back to you in balls the size of grapefruits.

And in this game of obstacles you are not near me.
I hope not.
Fearing for your safety.

You are on the other side of a window where there's a
Cut-out square the size of your head
So I can kiss you on the forehead.

What a way to start my week, reading the words that are flowing from your soul. May you find the inspiration each day to continue writing and sharing your wonderful poetry with us Matt. Love, Carol
