Where Was I

Where was i(poetry)

The sun rises and sets everyday
To bring joy and sadness
A puppy is to be a dog with time
A chick would grow to a mother hen or a cock
Even trees would get old and die if not hurted by human work so early
But have never heard of the sky growing old
Have never heard of the moon developing scale
The Sun has always remained a beautiful mother
But my heart meditates endlessly where i was before this hard to bear planet
And am not sure if is where i would return
But have brought nothing to this planet
And am leaving with Nothing on my side

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

I never thought to see things like this, or to these questions delve....I love the view from here This is nothing less than beautifully intelligent, filled with a gentle wisdom and a humble acceptance. Personally, I doubt you leave nothing. Actually, I know its not true after reading your poem.
