Notes About The Poem

Some of my paintings and poetry book...

Where They Will Find Me

In words and brushstrokes, live my heart and soul;
   as artist, poet, these gifts make me whole.
Words from my soul convey what's in my heart;
   with paint, my heart brings soul into my art.

There they will find me now and when I'm gone,
   in thoughts on paper or with colors on
my canvases, which both, alive with life,
   portray her varied joys, sadness, and strife.

My words convey committed love, along
   with such deep joy for family, lifelong;
my faith in God...eternal life to come,
   and love of nature's splendor neath our sun.

With paint, I image gifts of this sweet earth,
   her flowers, trees, landscapes...honor their worth
through colors that reflect the heart of me;
   how I interpret beauty that I see.

My sister arts are me and I am them;
   together, we have given birth by pen
and brush to imagery, sunset to dawn...
   there they will find me now and when I'm gone.
