Where the Wildflowers Lay
possessing an endurance,
they stood trembling,
proud
but unpretentious,
and strong enough
for summer storms,
the petals
delicate, soft,
listening
to the winds
without judgement,
the lovely flowers
greeting each day
welcoming you,
in meadows
they don't ask
for attention,
they simply decide
to smile
in their
own moments.
