Where the Snow Lay
When Autumn became a Winters' day
The snow flake falling
That Winter Queen lay...........
She heard the Heartstone calling
Her sleigh, gold and light
The reindeer, sure footed too
They carried her on the frosty night
The Whispering Trees changing hue
The fresh fallen snow,
covered the green so
The chuckle of Winter Elves
their feet, leaving tracks below
Tiny glowing lights
The Whispering Trees,
guided the Queen
Where the snow lay............
To the Castle gate,
upon her sleigh
The quiet of Winter.........
The fireside glow
The Castle .............
Covered in snow
The only sound..........
A hoot of owl.........
To be found
The berries,so red.............
On the holly bushes,
by the Great Hall
Dusted with snow...........
Just like in winters
from long ago
The cold night........
Beginning to shorten
The snow disappearing.........
Early light
Time to go
The Winter Queen saw..........
How the frost began to thaw.........
The ending of snow
The last visit to the Great Hall.........
Marvelling at the Tapestries glowing......
What they can say......
The Heartstone ,on the wall........
The hitched up sleigh
For Spring is coming soon.......
The dipping down........
Of a wintry moon
The last frost afternoon
Winters' crown
