Where the Flowers Grow
Where the flowers grow
In the land
Where the magnolias bloom
And the pines stand
And the oaks stand grand
This is my land
By the river that runs to the sea
This is where I want to be
River boats that float along
The shore
And barges beneath the bridge float
On down the river deep
Where the flowers grow
And gardens of vegetables too
And ripened in the morning
And kissed by the dew
This thing called life
Is beauty exists
And I want
To recall
As I think of this
And the beautiful flowers
The rivers that flow
The streams
The magnolias, pines and oaks
It’s where I want to stay
In a place called home
