Where Schemed Lithe Runners

in
reluctant
teardrops
plop
visions
of my field
of dreams
a bloody
track
of cinders
where
schemed
lithe
runners
to box me in
and ere
i fell
this
lonely race
become
my requiem

Some would sell their very souls to win, the spirit of sportsmanship forgotten. Tom

Yep! I think that there have always been some who get their kicks through foul play. Pity. Thanks, Tom
