Where It Leads Vii

There's a certain tranquility brought by the night
when light seems to be hidden from sight
and the Moon drifts lazily in the sky like a kite, surrounded by stars
scars on the fabric of the Universe; twisting the meaning of this verse
relax as inspiration kicks back time in reverse ready to coerce
Past so Future shall be bright
No, no, no! What is this meager attempt of poetry
are you content with content and no essence
do you truly expect deliverance, an epiphany with words
that drown logic in blasphemy, dichotomy is the answer
yes and no, black and white - the rest is just cancer
on the solid foundation the World is built upon
Logic and reality cracking like a mirror as the reflection
causes a chain reaction doing the opposite of what it should
White smiles as black turns into millions of colours
knowing water will alter its course greeting the desert
turning the barren land of sand into hills of flowers
Sounds bursting into music soothing time, years become eons
giving us the opportunity to bask in the liberty of immortality
slowly we mend Earth, mirth and joy all around
Imagination cannot be bound in a World full of sound
where the Heart's passion is compassion
where the Soul will not give up until it's whole
No matter what 'they' say, no matter what 'they' do
No matter who 'you' are, no matter how old 'you' are
never sever the string between imagination and reality
always let the mind swim in fantasy...
