There's been no respite from seasonal cold
With endless rainfall full of angry spite
Grey skies, enchanted clouds do not unfold
It seems as if nature has taken flight.
Long wait for spring when will it be revealed?
Hopefully, the first snowdrops will appear
Mighty oak stands stoic they lie concealed
White waxy beauty that visits each year.
When yellow swathes of daffodils grow tall
In soft gentle breeze, they sway and delight
This is the moment when spring does not stall
Poetic vision and verse will take flight
Magical spring creates pure miracle
Enchanted season will wax lyrical
