Where Is Our Hope
Hope can be elusive to find
our fingers find it hard to hold
it slips away so very easily
no matter how often we are told
Real true hope is eternal
this comes from God alone
His hope will never end
scriptural evidence has shown
It's scattered throughout the Bible
so often just at the right time
meets us where we are
spurs us on to find our rhyme
This hope is perfectly true
it never disappoints or lies
for God is in it to the end
you're never left to ask why
When your focus is fully fixed
making God your centre spot
true contented peace is one's lot
that's the time you hit the golden shot
