Listen to poem:
Where is Everyone
by Robert J (Bob) Moore (c) 2020

I went out into the street
but there was no one there to greet
everyone just stayed inside
from Coronavirus they did hide

The panic had spread far and near
and everywhere there was the fear
that you could catch it, and you would die
if someone with it you should spy

So stay at least 3 feet away
from crowds, and don’t go out to play
wash your hands, and please don’t sneeze
that spreads the virus, on the breeze

Just stay away from other folk
stay inside it is no joke
takes two weeks before your cured
so take your phone, and don’t get bored

There are other viruses which spread
but this one seems to affect the head
even with no symptoms you do strange things
buy toilet rolls, and paper things

the coronavirus will get you
if you don’t do what your told
don’t bother about the bogey man
he’s a scary tale of old

Now we have this new thing
kids can’t go out to play
and if you see a group of friends
you’re told to stay away

Really enjoyed reading your poem Robert. This virus is a bit like a visitor who has outstayed their welcome.

Fine write Robert, well-penned with good rhyme and flow too. I heard you guys in Os were getting it bad again here in Scotland it's getting bad again with people not taking enough caution and leaders still wanting to drop most rules by the end of July which is worrying. Take care, Gordon

it seems to depend on the day, and the orator Gordon, one day it is the end, with lockdowns and stay home, others it is get out and get tested, or queue for a jab, you cant see your family in the park, but you can go there with friends to excersise, all very confusing.
