Where I'M I

Where I'm I?
What is this awful place?
Where hope exists only in intangible dreams.
Every futile attempt at happiness
Is a guaranteed success at sadness.

Where I'm I?
What is this awful place?
Where the truth is never what it seems,
And faith is replaced by endless doubt
Because disappointment is found in every route.

Where I'm I?
What is this awful place?
Where silence drowns even the loudest screams.
Where darkness cannot be pierced by even the brightest light,
Plunging the world into an endless night.
