Where I Stood

Immeasurable is the growth possible in being understood
An acorn takes decades to produce usable hardwood
A pupil of hard lessons am I, just as anyone else should
Professors in my life range from classroom to hood
Each of them instrumental in looking past evil for good
But none have ever fully grasped, what I've withstood
I'm human, I make mistakes just as anyone else would
I'd take them all back along with others' pain if I could
When axes swing, integrity will be left where I stood

This is an excellent poem, AS. We live, we learn. can't change the past but we can learn from it. As far as being "understood" is anybody? I really like this one a lot!

Every experience in life is a learning experience. When we as human beings except that transcendence is not far behind! A.S
