Where I Long For You To Be

Sunlight’s hitting me in the eyes
Pillow’s warm against my face
Feet uncovered and cold again
This is not the right place
I’m waking up where I don’t belong
because once I get up
the bed will be empty
You weren’t sleeping by my side
which is where I long for you to be
