Where I Belong

I wash upon
the soft, soft shores
of the sea of satiation

As you pull me back
towards your warmth,
with gentlest persuasion

Arms and legs
that hold me close,
in loving affirmation

I lay my head
upon your chest,
heart bursts with adoration

Finally, I'm
where I belong,
without fear or hesitation

And I thank my God
for making you,
his most beautiful creation
