Well penned, indeed. I wrote 'Stick Out Our Neck' and feel the same way. The paradox is that facts are breathed in by all(you'd think). But many breath in pollution and would never believe they do so, even while they exhale filth.

Arthur and Omar, we're seeing bad continue. It's not easy to watch and (as you say) it's worse to remain silent. Palestinians have been sacrificed like animals and our government supplies the weapons to do that? Are we sick? I saw D.T. is calling for people in Gaza to relocate. Seems like that was the goal all along. How about they move in to the Trump Tower?

A wonderful poem explores themes of resistance to injustice and disillusionment with power. It implies that the jester and the poet are the final voices of rebellion in a society that suppresses expression.

Yes and sadly the poets these days , many chose to remain silent, or even support genocide. Breaks my heart.
