The birds are gone
along with the field
that is gone ...
The birds left,
along with the fields
that disappeared ...
Disappeared in the burn
darn,
disappeared in the occupation
rampant ...
The hysterical men
sterilized the earth,
exterminated the birds
and they left the devastated life ...!
