Where Fled the Tenderness

Where has the romance gone
  moonlit nights kissing 'til dawn
Where fled the tenderness
from our love once so strong

Where are the conversations
that used to matter so much
Where are the magic moments
  when our fingertips touched

Where are the sparks that flew
from our hearts to our minds
Who uncoupled our souls ~
the ties of caring that bind

Beautiful write Gershon.Everything you wrote may die with time but last two lines should never die. May that day never come in anybody's life.

A beautiful poem Gershon, I hope it’s only a flight of fancy and you still have the romance and tenderness in your life... Belle

Nicely penned, Gershon, sometimes life gets in the way of romance. Happy holidays my friend. John

Yes, indeed. Life does get in the way of romance, as you wrote -- dirty diapers, sewer backups, and all the rest. Oh, well... Gotta keep the spark alive somehow though. Light and Love, Gershon
