Where feelings begin

A tremor wakes beneath my skin
Desire pulls me deeper in
I linger in the fragile hush
Fear tastes the edge of sin
Hope answers from within

Your glance unsettles the air
Tenderness rises there
I stand where doubt is breathing
Anger flames, fierce and bare
Love crowns the silent prayer
