Where Drifts My Mind

Far away, where drifts my mind I find the sun’s forever glow Cradled by the turquoise breeze O’er the tides that ebb and flow In this place that I admire Love is all there is to see Sands of pink and palms that wave Gently send their love to me Far away, where lives my mind Loneliness is not a word Solitude may be on call Guided by an island bird Yet, I stay to pass the time Waiting still while we’re apart Thinking of your safe return from Far away, where lives my heart
