Where do we come from?

From the eternal,
From the light who never fades,
From the design of the greatest Creator,
The greatest Painter, the greatest Poet,
The greatest Sculptor, the greatest Grace,
The greatest Healer, the greatest Peace,
The greatest Joy, the greatest Savior!

From the everlasting,
From the gentle that comes to souls,
From the purpose, the promise, the prayer
For love that never dies, love that satisfies,
Love that comes to the heart who knows…
That love for God is the soul’s salvation,
Love that survives so that our spirits destination…

Is eternity with the best Creator,
The One who designed our fingers and toes,
The One who decided how our blood should flow,
The One who gave us skin of white or brown,
The One who made us to bring His love down…

After death has claimed us and our spirits soar,
Throughout the eternal, the song of praise,
Silences every tear of the past, every fear and doubt,
We’ll meet the One who gave us our souls,
The One who created us to become children of God,
The One who gave us a love that never ends,
The One who saved us so we’ll go to our heavenly homes.

Where do we come from? We come from God above,
We’re meant to spread His love wherever our story begins,
Wherever our soul is sent, wherever our story ends!
