I peruse my list of ‘favourite poets’ and sadness comes over me My writing partner Darren Watson – his poems I no longer see We wrote together as Jadazzle United Had such fun together I was so excited Then he became ill and writing together ceased He contacted me in August and our creativity was again unleashed We have not written together since September last year I’ve not had any news, for his well being I fear The door is always open should he wish to write once more My pen is poised ready for a Jadazzle United encore! Wow, this was like a call out to me (Not saying I'm one of your favorites or anything...) but I haven't been nearly as active on this site like I once was. A lot of times the Army sucks the drive for creativity right out of a person. I'm trying to get back on track though. Thank you...a very nice poem here Jan! MC

Thanks so much MC - I don't think I would have flourished so much with my writing if it wasn't for help and encouragement from Darren we may no longer be in touch but I will always be so grateful for the time we spent together writing:-) hugs Jan xx

I'm counting my days, too, Jan. Why don't you start writing your epic on my poems. I won't be able to read it of course, but many will. Hahaha! Yes, many names of Soupers who appreciated my humor I no longer hear from. A very touching poem. / M
