Because through my eye's I've seen much death in the streets
I've seen the theft and the murder
some of the things that people do just to eat.
I've seen confusion in the eye's of the youth
Back when i was a child i was confused
now i'm only speaking the truth.
I was confused about the life i would lead
If i would make it through school
where they would teach me how to write or to read.
Or if i'd fall to the streets and the code

and the rule is never snitch never fold.
Where if you told then that's the end of your life
Plus your brother, your sister, your mom and dad
you'd have no chance to think twice.
I've seen that poverty a problem we face
When you're i a society
where almost all are of the brown skinned race.
So many struggles tell me what should i do
Because if you had all these problems
leaving the block would be a dream for you to...
