Where Did I Go Wrong
As I sit here wondering where I went wrong
I didn’t expect my love for you to be this strong
A smile that brightens up my day
Eyes that sparkle like diamonds under a moonlit sky
I know I make mistakes that irritate you
I do this because I love you
A caring heart I’m trying to win
But feels like I have violated a sin
I have been hurt many times before
But being with you is all I ask for
I want to hold you in my arms
To protect you from other people’s harm
As my love for you keeps getting strong
I still wonder where I went wrong
I will keep loving you from afar
Even though I might go too far
If your love for me is just as strong
Please tell me where I went wrong
My love for you will always be strong
So I hope we can still get along
