Where did all the heroes go?
Legends of the past
Men and women people looked up to
Their lives were honorable
Their hearts were pure
Their words and actions were true
They could be trusted
Adults praised them
Children worshipped them
They were heroes
Where did the heroes go?
They were lost to another time
Lost as innocence faded into the past
Remembered but never to be seen again
