Where are you?

I look for you in the shade of a rose, 
and in the early morning light. 
I look for you among the eyes that look at me 
in the streets flooded with people. 
I look for you but I have not realized 
that you are closer than I thought: 
You are here, in my heart and in my soul,
In eternity.
