Where Are You

Sometimes the minutes are endless
It's just about all I can do
To keep myself focused on different things
When I'm waiting to hear back from you

I wonder what you are doing
Or whether you're thinking of me
Painfully slow do the hands of time go
'Round the clock when I just want to see
Your words on the screen coming through

Your messages sending anew
Put a smile on my face
Nothing else can replace
My excitement when I see that it's you
