Where are they now

Where are they now

  Faces drifting through my mind,
  Like long-forgotten dreams,
  Memories of long ago,
  When time was our friend.
      Where are they now?
   Friends that came and went,
The happy days we all spent,
Carefree days that we all shared,
   And the deeds we dared.
       Where are they now?
We grew up and grew apart,
   Friendships destined from the start,
Some in joy, some in tears
         Where are they now?
    Fading faces,
    From different places,
    Blurred memories of distant days,
When we went our separate ways,
          Where are they now?
    Different days and different faces,
    Different times and different places,
Age starts to dim the mind,
Names and faces are so hard to find.?
           Where are they now

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
