Where Am I
One night on my knees
Praying in much agony
My burden, I could not undo
I cried, "Jesus where are you"
In silence, I was still
His spirit I began to feel
Answering my urgent cry
Jesus ask, "Where am I?"
I am in the whisper of the wind
I am in the heart of your dearest friend
I am in the memory of loved ones gone on
I am in the breaking of the dawn
I am in each sunrise
I am in the deliverance of my children's cries
I am in the hands, of the hungry fed
I am in the power that raises the dead
I am in the arms that holds one tight
I am in the beam of one's guiding light
I am in the still voice whispering in one's ear
I am in the peace that calms one's fear
I am in the boat, of life's raging sea
I am in the blood that sets man free
I am in the dry valley, living water
I am in the life of the fatherless, a father
I am in the joy of one's singing
I am in the comfort that finds one weeping
I am in the courage allowing one to stand
I am in the confidence of every man
I am in the answer that every man seeks
I am in the strength for the very weak
I am in the compassion of the fellow man
I am in the footprints upon the sand
I am in the eyes of a beggar
I am in the healing of a leper
I am in the friendship to the poor
I am in the waves crashing upon the shore
I am in the love of a brother
I am in the forgiveness of another
I am in the blessing of unity
I am in the freedom of captivity
I am in the midnight hour
I am in persistence, one's strong tower
I am in a child's warm embrace
I am in one's favor, Amazing Grace
I am in the giving of life's eternal crown
I am in the stone, taking giants down
I am in the fall of one's enemy
I am in the end, one's destiny
I am in the way of salvation
I am in the battle without hesitation
I am in death's defeat, that gave you life
I am in the solution of trouble and strife
I am in all that is good
I am in the words of the Holy Book
I am in your presence when you pray
I am in your life every day
I am the first and the last
I am your future, I am your past
I am the beginning, I am the end
I am eternity, I am, Amen
My child, I will hear you when you call
I will never let you fall
I will never leave your side
I will never say good-bye
