Where Am I

Oh where, oh where…
I hear myself question
Where am I?

Sunken in deep,
Submerged, down low?
Am I living a lie?
Do I sleep beneath the life I live?

I see the light beneath the depths
Of dark clouds and deep waters,
I swim, I breathe and lift…..
Lift myself up, above and high
To hope and joy.

To live, to laugh, to cry
There, then that is what I seek.
To have love and peace
With a sigh, I close my hands in prayer
And Am Grateful and Hopeful
Always….
