Whenever

Whenever i see sunsets i fall in love again 
I fall in love with the light , the sun , the power , the nature , the view , 
I fall in love wth God’s creation again and again 
Not once did it disappoint me 

Whenever the rain falls down my heart goes back 
To those times when we were kids and we drank hot chocolate 
Rainy days in a warm house and i remember 
How fortunate i am to have a house 

Whenever the sunrise’s light peeks into my room 
Even though im sleepy and still in bed 
I feel a warmth inside my chest and i’d wish for time to stop
And i wish to thank Him for all those things 

For all the lights , the seasons , the nature and the feelings 
For all the friends , the family , the places and the faces 
To thank him for all those things he gave us 
To thank him for this place he put us in 

Whenever i look outside or inside my house , 
I feel blessed . 
For everything he did or didn’t give me 
For all those things he did or did not do for me 
Because he knows best 

And if one day the sunsets wont make me fall in love again 
And the rain wont take me back ,
When the sunrise wont peek inside my room 
Then only will i be sad .
