When You Get Labelled
When you get labelled in a grade school
It goes through the ranks fast and hard
Preconceived notions about your label brand you now
You get discussed in the lunchroom not as a person
But as a diagnosis
It happens in offices too, and neighborhood and churches.
I have observed this my entire life, so I am careful.
I have an affliction people fear.
Many of my girlfriends use my affliction to describe psychopaths.
I keep my mouth shut.
Trusting no one.
Once your diagnosis is out,
It is way out.
And I will have none of that.
So, I keep it to myself.
