When You Can'T Forget

she wanted to remember he wanted to forget the good times they had the day that they met because now it's over dead and gone and it's a shame that it didnt last long seventeen years all thrown away just because one september day he says he'd do anything just to get her back and he's so distraught he can't face the facts and when he can't handle it there's a bottle sitting on the shelf everyone asks why why do this to yourself he doesn't get mad he looks them straight in the eye and says simply because she didn't die you see to him she's still alive the sound of her laugh memories of her smile all come crashing back along with the sight of her sitting in the tub laying lifeless covered in her blood
