When You Believe

Why do you have to hide your face?
Hiding from the truth-
Shielded by black cotton,
As much as I can say,
As much as I can do,
No matter how my love is expressed-
My fiance turns away.
No trust in the heart that loves him the most-
The heart that beats for his very existance-
I pray,
For a day,
When you believe.

How sad that he can't accept love; such a great loss. I hope you find a way to make him "believe." I do. Love, Carolyn
