When You Arrive

how long till you arrive
 when will this end

 forgone conclusions
 nothing but intrusions

for i have waited , waited

 the rivers have dried
 with the life giving water

 nothing else matters
 my mouth parched

 just waiting , waiting

 quietly you walk
 not making a sound

 coming from a place
 that you have recently found

i have waited so long for this
i believe this will be it

for my shoes can do the same
 walk the mile you have

 now your words are new
wise beyond your age new age

real , not the ones frozen in time
 i am alive

 you have arrived , arrived

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
